Farmhouse

Kathryn has created a wonderfully warm and
cosy atmosphere at Higher Trevartha....
The farmhouse is full of olde-worlde charm
and character, complete with original exposed
oak beams, a wonderful Inglenook fireplace
and carefully restored original flagstone floors.

The farmhouse has a choice of four bedrooms, including the romantic four poster room "Camel" and
a cosy guests lounge to while away a relaxing evening with a good book, jigsaw or game or simply unwind and plan the day ahead.
Guests visiting during the chillier months have the added bonus of relaxing by the traditional woodburner and savouring the delights of the log fire, whilst those wishing to share the magic of Christmas here at Trevartha, can also enjoy Kathryns beautiful handcrafted decorations and real traditional atmosphere.

For those of you who prefer to relax outdoors, our south facing garden with its gentle stream running through and landscaped pond, home to wild ducks and moorhens, is the ideal place to relax, catch the sun and simply
watch the world go by.......
and with the long, warm Cornish summer evenings,
our summerhouse, which retains the sun well into
the evening, is a wonderful place to enjoy a
glass of wine at the end of the day.....

Camel
Sleeps 2-3 guests
Our main bedroom, has great charm and character, featuring the luxurious antique four poster bed,
with its pretty patchwork quilt,
a dark wood antique wardrobe with luxury padded coathangers and a chest of drawers decked with
fresh flowers ....
There is also an additional single bed should guests wish to use this beautiful room as a twin or family room.

The leaded cottage style window with its wide wooden window sills and comfy armchairs either side,
frames the wonderful views across the garden out to the fields beyond and our family of Fresian cows.

To make your stay just a little more special
there is the latest technology 26" digital colour television, radio-alarm and a separate radio with CD player,
hair dryer and a selection of magazines and leaflets to
help you plan your days ahead.
There is of course a refreshment tray, with a selection of hot drinks and fresh milk set on a table with
chairs for additional ease.

The bedroom is warm and cosy,
carpeted and has a night storage heater
should your visit fall during those chillier times.

The en-suite shower room has a contemporary look
with a large quadrant shower.
The sink has built-in units and there are plenty of
fluffy towels and eco-friendly toiletries provided.....

Lynher
Sleeps 2
Our twin bedroom, is a lovely bright room, with a real cosy cottage feel to it..... it has a deep pink carpet with complimenting decor and bedding and the benefit of a night storage heater for those chilly evenings.

The warm pine wardrobe and dressing table are of
French origin and beautifully compliment the
olde-world bedroom, with its beamed ceiling
and old cottage style pine doors.
There are two easy chairs, ideally placed for the comfort
of watching a 22" colour digital television.
Additionally, there is a bedside cabinet with radio alarm,
a coffee table with beverage tray
and a small bookcase with a varied selection of
books, magazines and information,
to help you make the most of your holiday.

The ensuite is fully fitted with a modern shower,
fluffy towels and toiletries.

Fowey

Our second double bedroom, features a 4ft 6in white double bed, with a romantic hearts and bows swag headboard. The cottage style window, looks out across the front garden, capturing the very best views of the beautiful magnolia tree and the cream rambling rose,
entwined with clematis and jasmine for those heady aromas of a warm summer's evening.....

The room has an olde-worlde beamed wall with four large pine drawers, which unusually fit under the floor
of the next room!
There is a large antique pine wardrobe, complete with handmade fabric hangers, comfy easy chairs, bedside tables with lamps and radio alarm and a wall mounted portable colour TV. A coffee table and chairs fits nicely in the window recess, allowing our guests the enjoyment of a nice cup of tea whilst enjoying views of the garden.
The bedroom is carpeted and is heated with night
storage heaters.

There is a private shower room just outside the bedroom door, with lots of fluffy towels and toiletries.....

There is a fourth double bedroom available at times, which is ideal for the less mobile being situated at the base of the stairs.
This is a delightful cottage style room with leaded windows, wide window sills and a beamed ceiling.
It has an oak bed with matching bedside tables and chest of drawers, table and chairs with beverage making facilities and a large comfy sofa, ideally placed to take full advantage of the portable colour TV.

The ensuite shower room has lots of fluffy towels and toiletries to make your stay more special.
